Christ has won, making us all Victorious!

The Christian life is not a playground, but a battleground.
While we often focus on the external battles, the most intimate work God performs is the surgical separation of our old nature from our new life in Christ.
Let's focus on 3 fronts of how the Lord is currently refining His people.
1. The Defeat of the External Adversary
The devil is described as a "roaring lion," but for the believer, he is a lion on a leash.
His "day is dawning" not as a triumph, but as a final sunset on his rebellion.
God’s promise is not just to protect us, but to ultimately crush the source of temptation.
2. The Judgment of the Wicked
It can be discouraging to see iniquity thrive, but let me remind you that God’s scales are perfectly balanced.
The "wicked" are those things (and sometimes people) who set themselves against God’s ways, BUT their influence is temporary.
God’s deliverance involves removing the oppression of the ungodly to make room for His kingdom of peace.
"For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth..." — Psalm 37:10-11
3. The Internal Overhaul: Separating the Sin Nature
This is the most "painful" yet beautiful part of the devotion:
God tearing the sin nature from our being.
This is NOT JUST self-improvement; it is divine surgery.
God is systematically dismantling our old habits, selfish desires, and "fleshly" impulses to make us reflect the image of His Son.
The Refiner’s Fire
God doesn't just "ignore" our sin; He purges it.
Like a refiner who heats gold to skim the dross off the top, God uses the trials of life to bring our hidden sins to the surface so He can remove them.
The Spiritual Circumcision
We just mentioned "tearing" the sin nature away.
The Bible often calls this the "circumcision of the heart"—the cutting away of the old, dead nature so the spirit can truly live.
The Death of the "Old Man"
The separation of sin is a daily process of "reckoning" our old selves as dead.
God works in us to ensure that sin no longer has dominion, even if it still tries to whisper.
A Little Note of Encouragement:
If you feel a "tugging" or a "tearing" in your spirit lately—if things you used to enjoy now feel hollow or "wrong"—don't be alarmed. That is the hand of the Father working on you. He is separating the "chaff" from the "wheat" in your own heart because He loves the harvest of your life too much to let it be choked by weeds.
